On the afternoon of Thursday, August 14, 2025, the Southeast Asian Studies (International Program), Graduate School, Chulalongkorn University, welcomed faculty members and students from the Department of Southeast Asian Languages and Cultures, National Chengchi University, Taipei, Taiwan, during their visit to learn more about the program.
The visit began with an introduction to the program by Assistant Professor Dr. Chairat Polmuk, Program Director, in Room 610, Chalerm Rajakumari 60 Building (Chamchuri 10), Graduate School, Chulalongkorn University. This was followed by a warm welcome speech delivered by Assistant Professor Theera Nuchpiam and Dr. Saikaew Thipakorn, faculty members of the Southeast Asian Studies Program. The group then visited the program office and enjoyed a friendly tea break at the program’s library, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
After an engaging exchange of ideas and discussions, the visitors toured the Chulalongkorn University Museum, explored the campus, and visited the Faculty of Arts—one of Chulalongkorn University’s most significant historical and cultural landmarks.
This visit left a lasting impression on both institutions and served as a valuable opportunity to strengthen academic ties and share experiences in the teaching and learning of Southeast Asian cultures in creative and meaningful ways.
