CUGS held the School Development Voluntary Project at Wat Nong No Tai Community School, Saraburi Province

     Friday 16th February 2024, CUGS held the Small School Development Voluntary Project  at Wat Nong No Tai Community School, Nong No Sub-District, Mueng District, Saraburi Province. With the aim to develops the Interdisciplinary Students consciousness and social responsibility, in order to develops Chulalongkorn University Graduates both knowledge and moral, altogether with developing the relationship between Interdisciplinary Students in each program through the voluntary project. This activity has been granted the budget from the Office of Student Affairs, Chulalongkorn University. Participated in this project were: Assistant Professor Dr. Thanasin Chutintaranond, Advisor to the Dean of Graduate School on Graduate Studies Academic Strategy, Staffs of the Division of Graduate Students Service Affairs, Academic Section, and 23 Master’s degree and Ph.D. degree students of Graduate School Interdisciplinary Programs – which were divided into 6 Thai Students and 17 Foreign Students. Seen in the picture are the ladders, washing basin and multipurpose building painting and rice, dry goods, milk and stationary donations activities for the school and its students. With Mr. Pongpat Patharasompong, School Director, teachers and students accepted the donation goods.

     After that the Interdisciplinary Students went to visit National Primate Center of Thailand - Chulalongkorn University – Thailand’s first and only National Primate Center awarded the International Animal Care and Use award from AAALAC International located at Center of Learning Network for Region (CLNR) Chulalongkorn University, Saraburi Province. With the welcoming from Professor Dr.Suchinda Malaiwichitrnont, Director of National Primate Center and staff given an introduction regarding to the Center’s data, Missions, Primate Animal Services, Research Services and brought the students to observe the food preparation rooms of Crab-eating macaque, Indochinese rhesus macaque and Marmosets altogether with monkey’s utilities and toys and Crab-eating macaque, Indochinese rhesus macaque breeding house.
