Short introduction
In 1997, the international LL.M Business Law programme was established in partnership with the University of Kyushu (Japan), the University of British Columbia (Canada), and the University of Victoria (Canada). It was the first international graduate law programme offered in Thailand. Classes began in 1999 and now enrols approximately 20 to 30 students each year. The program involves one year of full-time study, with a minimum of 30 credit hours of coursework and a 6 credit independent research paper. All instruction on the international LL.M programme is in English and approxiamately half of the courses are taught by visiting professors from the partner universities, with the remaining courses taught by Chulalongkorn Professors and distinguished local legal practitioners. An all inclusive overseas research trip is included in the full tuition, providing students with the opportunity to visit the partner universities in Canada and Japan. |
