The areas of concentration are Life Actuarial Mathematics, Casualty Actuarial Mathematics, and Risk Management. The program prepares students for careers in the actuarial profession by emphasizing theories and applications in insurance pricing, risk, and management. The required courses help the students prepare for the professional examination administered by the Society of Actuaries and/or the Casualty Actuarial Society.
